So gather 'round piggies and kiss this goodbye, I'd encourage your smiles, I'll expect you won't cry.
Matsu City. The most busy of the busy places. Everyone is always in a hush. Everyone is always late for somethin. The wind runs for it's late. The sun pass by fast, for it's also late. Cloud float faster because they've lost track of time. The pokémons are alwasy running, they are late for something, nobody really knows what. The people are always hushing everywhere, nobody really cars why. The cops are late. Those are alwasy late. Always on step too late. One step behin. They can run as much as they want but Team Rocket still runs faster than them. Those guys, those are the ones that are never late. They are fast. Too fast. In a city where running is always necessary, those are the ones who are good with it. So, they are always on time. Specially their Elite. And their admin is no different. Even if he doesn't seem like he is in a hush at all.
The wind blew the withe locks of hair on his eyes as he stopped to wait the right moment to cross the busy street. He lifted the one hand that was not holding the shopping bag up to take the hair away from his purple eyes, revealing a mark under his left eye. The cars passed by fast before him. Every now and them a passer by stole a look at him, he was certainly handsome, and knew it. His moment to cross the street came, old allstars hit the ground as he took long steps. His looks also usually helped into making him different, and yet, so alike the crowd. Worn out jeans with cuts here and there and a white tshirt finished it. He walked around humming a song, making his way to his – current – home. The place was close to his – current – working place. What was good for him, he never knew at what odd ours of the night they'd be calling him. Lucien was one busy man.
Well, since Lucien left home some time ago to go buy groceries he had to be watching out while keeping his ever existent smile on his face. Her certainly seemed harmless and cheerful, as always. But, what one couldn't see is that he was, all the while, looking out for danger. His place as the Team Rocket Admin required such behavior afterall. Never had he, ever, been caught by anyone. He was sneaky as a snake. Bright as only he is, that was an easy task. On the whole way he behaved and seemed like any other person. He hapilly greeted people as he passed by. He entered the store, not enjoying the music that was playing int he last, but not even metioned it. He looked around for the itens on the list (cheese, rice, beans, meat, chocolate, cookies, sugar and marshmallows). Paying for them, thanking the workers of the store, being as polite as always. On his way back he got a movie, once more spending money on something not so essencial, like he always did. Then heading straight home. One hand full holding the shopping bags, the other setting a song on his Ipot, putting the headphones on.
As he got back home, he kept on his happy looks. In fact, he was in a good mood today, and the fact that he was arriving home was making it all that better. He turned off the Ipod with his one free hand, and opened the locked door, just to lock it again after he entered.. Upon enetring home he took out his keys, Ipod and cell phone and put them all on top of the table where the plasma TV was. Leaving his all stars in front of the sofa, now walking barefoot on the floor, still humming a song. The smile wide on his face. Then he made his way to the kitchen.
“Tessa-chan. I'm home.”
He announced on his best sing song voice – which was his usual voice. No response. He left the bags on top of the table, then arranging the contents on the freezer and wherever more they'd go. He pulled out the DVD of the movie, the cover read “The Phantom of the Opera”. It was the movie version of the old theather play. He had gone to see it before. He walked outside of the rather clean kitchen, once more on the main room. This time, his Umbreon came to meet him. Daemon seemed pretty calm, what was a signal that Tessa was still inside of the house. There was nothing to worry about. The Umbreon brushed it's black body on it's owner's leg, letting out a sound just to then head somewhere else and leave Lucien to, once more, call for his girlfriend. Tessa better answer him, or his mood would go down and she would not like it. Not at all.
“Where is my little Tessa-chan~~<3?”

I am in misery, there ain’t nobody who can comfort me. Why won’t you answer me? Your silence is slowly killing me…
Tessa Henley sat on the floor in her bedroom, or perhaps she should refer to it as their bedroom, with her knees pulled up to her chest and her hands covering her mouth to keep her from being heard. She was sitting in the space between the bed and the wall that her back was pressed up against. She was desperately trying to keep from shaking too much, but she couldn’t really help it. She was so frightened…So afraid.
The moment she had heard the front door unlock, she had ran from where she had been seated in the living room, playing with one of her Pokémon who had stared at her with sad eyes when she left so abruptly, and into the bedroom which was the only other room in the house aside from the bathroom which could lock. She had thrown herself to the floor when she heard him calling her name in that happy-go-lucky, sing-song manner of his. Of course, she knew better than to run away from him, but when you were scared you really couldn’t be blamed for your actions.
When Lucien had left the house this morning, Tessa had still been asleep, or at least she was pretending to be. She couldn’t sleep when he was in the bed with her, because she never knew when he was going to wake her up, and it was more often than not that he did. She had been relieved when he had chosen to just let her be this morning, though it probably meant that he was planning something for later on.
Throughout the day she had done nothing more than watch reruns on TV and talk to her Pokémon – mostly the Chatot (Who she could hear squawking Lulu-sama, Lulu-sama! from the living room like she had when he had come home) because it would at least do something that resembled replying to her, though she was really just repeating whatever she heard. She always had too much spare time on her hands, during which she could only really think. Specifically, over think. Tessa often found herself wondering why she didn’t just up and leave Lucien. It would be so easy to just pack up her things and go one day while he was at work, but she just couldn’t bring herself to do it. It was hard to leave the one you loved…The one you were sure loved you too.
“Where is my little Tessa-chan~~<3?”
She could hear the false kindness in his voice, and it sent shivers down her spine. Tessa-chan, Tessa-chan… Those were the words that she heard in her head at night when she was lying in bed staring up at the ceiling, or pretending to be asleep. She heard the voice of the man who she thought cared for her for such a long time, and it used to bring her happiness when she heard him say her name, but now it was terrifying. A single tear slid down her cheek as she forced herself not to start shaking, telling herself that she was stronger than this, surely.
Taking a deep breath, Tessa stood up and walked across the room. She paused in front of the door, before finally making her decision and unlocking the door with a loud click. The door creaked open, and she peeked her head around to see if he was in the hall. When she saw that he was not, she stepped out of the room and slowly, quietly, began walking down, looking into all of the rooms to make sure he could not jump out at her.
She had her arms wrapped around her torso as she finally stepped into the main room. She looked up at the tall man standing there, at his extremely pale hair, the tattoo under his eye, his shockingly mainstream apparel…All of the things that had drawn her to him in the first place, and she felt her heart thump dully in her chest, but not of her own accord. A small smile tugged on her lips, but she dropped her head and looked to the floor to keep him from seeing it.
“Welcome home, Lulu-sama…” She murmured softly, still looking down at her feet so as not to allow her face to give away any of her emotions, or the fact that she had been crying. She spoke up again, hoping to maintain a relatively pleasant conversation and not anger him…Though it really didn’t make a difference if he was happy or angry. “Did you have a nice day today?”

So gather 'round piggies and kiss this goodbye, I'd encourage your smiles, I'll expect you won't cry.
Lucien took silent steps into his own home. Right after calling Tessa for the first time he heard a high “Lulu-sama!Lulu-sama” from the living room. The high and annoying sound obviously belonged to that ridiculous Chatot. Useless pokémon. But it severd well it's purpose on the current situation: keeping company to it's owner. Obviously Tessa would never have a big and mean pokémon – like Lucien, that basically had 6 of those. Tessa-chan was too cute for this kind of horrendrous thing. And no pokémon was ever allowed to hurt his little Tessa. The ones who as far as caused an accident – or looked to dangerous on Lucien's eyes – well, they weren't allowed near her. He could find her something better anyway. She had to have pokémons as cute as her. Or as close as they could get. For, that Chatot's voice was a pain. It rung on his ears like a knife cutting on his brain. How could Tessa stand this noise? As much as it was usefull to keep her comapny, still it had an horrible voice. Nothing compared to Tessa's sweet voice. Even when whimpering in fear.
Oh, the fear. Lucien could smell it – and the house was full of this smell. The whimpers of terror and pleas of no. “No, don't.”, “No! No! No!”, “Please, don't! Please!”...”Please”. Please. Such a beautifull word. Because being polite is important. No matter the situation. Saying a “please” is the same thing as aking someone to do something to please you. It was so odd in so many ways. He could twist this idea – like he had done countless times – in so many different ways, shapes, etc. All one needed was a bright mind, and Lucien was the definition of bright. Well, at least in the “intelligence” concept. Because if you used this word to refer to a rather good person, well, Lucien wasn't on the top of the list. Nothing to worry about though. Nobody was completely good anyway, right?
Okay, so, he had heard Angie and saw Daemon. No strange behavior, no warnings. Tessa was at home, for sure. But he knew that she'd never be foolish enough as to try and run away. Lucien would find her anyway, her and anything and everything that she held dear. Lucien was Team Rocket's Admin after all, he had contacts. The one's that you'd rather say away from. Anyway, the world was too big and evil for his Tessa-chan. And she wasn't leaving him. Oh, no, she wasn't going to leave him. He wasn't going to allow such a sin. She wouldn't commit that mistake for he'd not give her the chance. He wasn't willing to play this kind of game. Still, she did not appear. Was she playing? For real? With him? He couldn't mind playing tag but...he really wanted to watch the movie with her and knew that the outcome of the tag game would only delay his plans. He wouldn't be able to get it after he got in the mood. He made a second call for her. This time though, it didn't take long and he heard a “click”. So, she was hiding in their room? Did she really think that it would delay him? Nah...He let out a soft laugh at the idea, and them, she appeared.
She arrived on the room. So beautifull, like always. She was smaller than him, her thin frame made it seem as if she wasn't eating enough. Something that no person could ever blame Lucien for. He wanted her healthy, eating well. She had everything she could want, and more. The girl did take a good tool on his sweets. She ate as much as him. It was all worth in the end tough. She was his beauty. His, and none else. And, differently from the first ones, she was going to last longer. Those dolls had tired him, they were in the past. As she spoke, her voice was nothing but a murmur, she was looking down. Lucien wasn't in the mood for this now. Anyway, he replied with his usual cheerfull tone, purple eyes closed as a bright smile was still on his face, his thin lips then forming the words to come out of his mouth.
“I feel veeery glad to be home, my sweet little Tessa-chan.~~<3 And you know my answer already, huh. My days always are veeeery~~ boring until I get to see you, dear Tessa-chan~~<3. But, more important than how my day was,”
He lowered his face to her level, putting her chin on his hand – that wasn't holding the DVD – and lifting her head slightly so that she could look him in the eyes. He saw her face, a quick reading of her expressions, his eyes close to her ski, no detail could go unnotice. She had been crying. Now, how could he just let it go? No...he couldn't. He wouldn't. Her tears would go to waste if he wasn't there to see them, to taste them. To hear her beautifull cries. Those little joys of life that only he could understand.
“why have you been crying? Oh, could it be that you were feelin alone?”
His expression went to one of worry, white eyebrows coming together on his pale forehead, a slight pout appearing on his thin lips. Bright purple eyes taking a firm hold of Tessa's big and brown ones. His voice came out sweet and caring. Even more than it usually was. His one hand remained on with it's hold on her thin chin. His other hand took a hold of Tessa's shoulder, not a strong grip – seeing as he still was holding the DVD, but she could certainly feel his big and warm hand on her thin shoulder.
“Oh...I've been spending so much time at my work that I ended up leaving you all lonely here, all by yourself. I have to find more time to spend with you, little Tessa-chan.”
His hand moved from her shoulder to the back of her neck. The on on her chin went to the back of her head. Both hands moving to draw her closer to his warm body for a hug. His voice now coming out in a wishper as he head moved and his mouth neared her ear, she could certainly feel his hot breath now. His purple eyes glowing with something that was impossible to be explained by anyone. It could either creepy one out, or attract them to him, and this was Lucien's ace. He would always remain an unknow being. He seemed so extremely ordinary that one would never doubt him. But the truth was that he worked for Team Rocket, finding a time away from them would be very hard. He always found it, and as much as it could be true that he disliked leaving Tessa alone, he had to go and do his job. It was what kept the house and all his needs. And hers too. As well as the trivial little things that they didn't need – like a hightech videogame, 2 plasma TVs, their DVD player, laptop, Ipod, a king sized bed and many others little things that he enjoyed but were not essential. But, when you come from a life on the streets, having experienced having to bad, or a house for the matter, you want to have everything you can once you get the chance. An aura of peace covered him, but for one who knew his true nature, knew that his peace was a sick one.
“I promise to find more time for you, my sweet little Tessa-chan.”
His voice suddenly came back to normal. Still not letting go of her.
“But, a hug will only work if I lighten the mood. So~~...I brought a present with me today! Can Tessa-chan guess what it is?~~<3”

I am in misery, there ain’t nobody who can comfort me. Why won’t you answer me? Your silence is slowly killing me…
Tessa wasn’t sure of how she thought that Lucien would react when she spoke, but it certainly hadn’t been this. She always expected him to start yelling at her for some reason, but he never really did except when he was very, very angry, and he couldn’t keep his usual pleasant smile on his face. The one that pretended to be constantly joyful and happy, the one that drew people in, only to scare them away…But they weren’t allowed to leave. No, once he had them, they were with him until he was finished, and only he knew how long that would be. Or maybe he didn’t. Maybe he just went along with it until he was bored, and then threw them away like empty shells, not caring what would happen to them after.
But who were they? Tessa often found herself asking this. She didn’t know a thing about any of the other girls Lulu-sama had ever been with. She didn’t know their names, their ages…but what scared her the most was to think that she didn’t even know whether or not they were dead or still living. When she thought of this, she squeezed her eyes shut tightly and forced the thoughts out of her mind and tried not to cry. Luckily, she managed to keep from thinking things like this too much. Nobody liked to think about what was coming next. So now, as she stood before the man that she loved, she looked at smile, the one that made her want to smile right back with the way his eyes closed and made him look just so happy, she couldn’t help it when she started to feel a bit better already.
“It makes me happy that you had a nice day, Lulu-sama, but surely you cannot hate being away from me so much?” She said, feeling a little bit confused. He always seemed to insist that he hated to be away from her, that he always had an awful time and was very bored when she wasn’t near. This didn’t make much sense in her mind, but she wasn’t too worried; just enough to question him about it slightly. Of course, she wasn’t going to pry. She didn’t want to make him angry with her, and sometimes it was true that she did question him a bit too much, so he probably had reason to get mad at her.
Suddenly, Tessa found herself looking straight into Lucien’s bright purple eyes, and a small, pathetic cry escaped her lips, almost like the sound a kitten would make. No, not because he had hurt her, but because she hadn’t wanted him to see her face, and from here it would be obvious to him that she had been crying. This was not something that he had to know, and she would have much rather kept that small detail to herself, but she supposed now that it was too late to do anything about it, and she would have to lie her way around it. All she had to do was come up with a convincing lie.
She began to reply to him that really it was nothing, when he started to look very concerned and he placed one of his hands on her shoulder. She could barely tell that he was holding something, because the heat of his hand distracted her. When he spoke again, her heart pounded quickly in her chest. He sounded so sweet and nice that it was hard to believe that he had ever heart her, or would ever want to. When he spoke to her this way, which he usually didn’t, she could forget about all the bad things that happened between them, and just concentrate on the fact that she loved him and that she was sure he loved her too.
“No, Lulu-sama, I’m fine on my own…” Her voice was as quiet and gentle as always, yet there was a slight tremble to it as he placed his hand on the back of her head, and the other on her neck, and pulled her in for a hug – one that was sweet and caring. There was nothing violent, or scary about this one, and she was sure that he could probably feel her heart drumming quickly. “You have to work, you are very important…You don’t have to worry about me.”
She tried to sound strong when she said this, but she was sure that he could hear the sadness in her voice, and it was very hard to mask. It was also difficult to hide the shaking of her shoulders as a couple more tears squeezed through her eyelids and down her cheeks. She didn’t know if they were from love or from hatred, because the two were so closely related. When she was close to him like this, so close that she could feel his warmth throughout her entire body, flushing her cheeks, she didn’t know what to feel anymore. When she was with him, she was torn…torn between the two feelings that she had for him When he was away, she could dwell on the bad, but when he was with her, he had a way of making her feel so happy, that she regretted the bad thoughts and she hated herself for them. Some may call her stupid for this, but she really couldn’t change the way things were…They weren’t likely to change for a while, if ever.
“Lulu-sama…” She whispered, his sweet voice in her ear causing her to tremble slightly in his arms. Tessa leaned her head against his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat, still trying to get rid of all of the bad thoughts. Maybe today would be a good day and he wouldn’t hurt her. Maybe…Just maybe…Or maybe this was just her wishful thinking kicking in. She was always trying to look at the good side of things, and make the bad somehow seem good…Today had to be better…It just had to.
“What did you bring, Lulu-sama?” Tessa asked, somewhat puzzled, and trying not to worry about whether or not it was something scary.

So gather 'round piggies and kiss this goodbye, I'd encourage your smiles, I'll expect you won't cry.
Lucien was Team Rocket's Admin. A rough and cruel man. Lucien, the Snake. Feared for his power and blood lust. But, so, why did he not kill the little Chatot? The tiny creature would never stand a chance agains him – or his Umbreon. It botherede him every day, so, why? She was the reason for it: Tessa. She liked the little thing, it made her company, made her happy, and meant no harm. Why did Lucien need to dirty his hands with the thing? And, it was a good way of keeping an eye on Tessa. He knew that every time he came back home, it would repeat it's owners last words. It could be usefull for him. And it was dear for Tessa. His little Tessa-chan.
As she began replying to him in her sweet sweet voice, inquiring him about his first lines, she didn't see the hand moving her chin. Once you fall on his dance, if you lose attention, he will make his move. And once you fall on his eyes, there is not an expression that can be hidden, for usually when one is so good in controlling his expressions to his own will, he will be good on reading trough masks too. She had been crying, and he didn't enjoy this. She began saying that it was nothing, all lies, like they would matter to one – much more experienced in hiding the truth than her – like Lucien. No, they wouldn't. She'd never fool him.
As Lucien put his other hand on his shoulder, it was soon that he felt her heart speed up, that was so nice. The meaning coun vary from time to time, but the feeling of what he could cause on her, her heart race changing. The feeling of having this much power over a person, this was something that he enjoyed to disturbing extents. As he began drawing her body near his, this intoxicating feeling, the drumming of her little heart along the whole atmosphere of the raw influence his simple appearance had on her, he could feel it even more. She talked, obviously trying to seem strong, but her voice trembled. She was so frail, she didn't even stiffen her muscles as he drew her to his body completly.
There were days that Lucien wouldn't lack that part of her behavior, the lack of a fight. He was a haunter, she was the prey. Every good haunter know that what gives the satisfaction is not the dead prey under their jaws, but the thrill of the haunt. The muscle and brain work one had to put up in order to get what they want. Having to battle your way trough to put your hands on your prey. It all made the end all that more satisfacting. All that more sweet. The taste was something completely different when you had to fight. But Lucien had done it for such a long time. Going out at night to 'haunt'. Living on the run, the thrill of being the haunter to ones and the prey to others. Being haunted and beating the haunters on their own game. Becoming the Game Master. History is written by the winners afterall. That is the meaning of Game Master. He had come, he had seen and he had won.
But it was that exact knowledge that made thos elight days. He had been born a prey, spent his childhood as a prey. No chance of changing it until he fought his way and got to beat the first haunter on his own game. The taste of revenge was sweet. Then, he lived his teenage days as both prey and haunter, out on the streets, fighting for his life, killing not to be killed. And as he fought and beat more and more haunter, he was getting to the very top. He wanted a new 'game'. He'd go out at night to 'haunt'. But those were nothing like Tessa. They'd last one night. He'd grow bored of those preys, mere dolls. There was not much of fun to this game. And that was when he met Tessa. She was the prey that lasted the most to him. He'd never know – or admit – the reason for this. But, who cares? It was enjoyable, he was happy this way. This was more fun than even the Team Rocket job he had gotten himself into. So much fun.
As she spoke, so close to him, he could feel the sadness in her sweet voice. Her little shoulders were shaking, he didn't really need to look at her to see that she was crying once again. In a disturbed sort of way, there was that joy again, the one of having such an influence on someone. He could feel her body on his, her currently erratic breathing. He embraced her, inviting her to rest her head on his warm chest. The warmth of his body, an irony to how cold the feared Team Rocket Admin could be. The hand on her neck traveled to her back, still holding the DVD case, while the other raimed on the back of her head. He rested his head on top of her own with a murmured “Shhhh”. The one thing that she didn't get to see were his eyes openning for a split second, a malicious glow on them.
“Why don't we calm down here, huh, Tessa-chan?”
As he said that he smoothed the skin of her head, under her hair, with his thin and pale fingers.
“I thought you already realized that, but my days are so grey when I'm not with you. ~~<3 There is no color at aaal~~”
He wasn't really lying, considering that he thought of his Team Rocket job as boring stuff most of the time. He usually came back home seeking 'fun'.
“Ah...But, but, but,~~ work is not as important as you, Tessa-chan.~~<3 It will neeeeever~~ be. Noo~, it will never be as important as my sweet little Tessa-chan.~~<3.”
He giggled slightly at his own words. The song coming deep from withing his chest, that moved a little with the giggles. He then made a slight pout with his thin lips, shaking his head slightly from side to side. His white locks of hair moving along. He wondered if she was mostlikely thinking about what he brought. When living with someone like Lucien, a present could be something interesting for you, but boring for him, that he brought for you on a good day. But it could also be something interesting for both, that just picked up his attention. Though, it could also be something that was just interesting for him. This one being the most dangerous option. For, what was intersting for Lucien, could either be something perfectly normal, or something dangerous and scary. It could as well be something painfull to others, seeing as the pain of other was one of his main interests. Well, with Lucien, all one could do was hope for the best.
“Tsc,tsc. Aaahhh, no, no. I said that Tessa-chan had to try to guess.Where is the fun in the game if you don't try to guess. But, I bet it will be something that Tessa-chan will liiike.~~<3”

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,390,true][atrb=background,http://i890.photobucket.com/albums/ac107/sophiefication/tessabackground.jpg]
I am in misery, there ain’t nobody who can comfort me. Why won’t you answer me? Your silence is slowly killing me…
Tessa sometimes wondered if her past had anything to do with her current situation. She often found herself thinking of her brother who had died when she was only ten years old, the only person that she thought had actually told her that they loved her and meant it from the very bottom of their heart. When Tessa was alone she could sometimes hear her brother’s laughter, the sound of his voice when he read stories to her, and it filled her heart with sadness. Tessie, it’s going to be okay. I-I’m going to get better, I promise. And then we will play all o-of your favourite games together a-and read your favourite stories…
She had believed him, of course she had. He was her older brother and she believed in everything that he said, in him. But just because you look up to someone does not make them any less human, and humans were very fragile beings. As the health of her brother had continued to go downhill, Tessa could remember him crying when he thought that she couldn’t hear him, and she could remember his voice steadily growing weaker as the days went by. He always tried to tell her that he wasn’t going to go anywhere and that things were going to get better.
And then she would remember the funeral, when she had tried to dig him out of the ground because she knew in her heart that it was impossible for him to be dead because he had promised that he was going to be all right! After that day she had been hardly able to trust anyone for fear that they were going to lie to her like her brother had, even though her parents had explained that he couldn’t have fixed his sickness even if he’d tried. At only ten years old, Tessa had found herself already broken in a way that was quite irreparable.
Nowadays, when she had more time than ever to think, she wondered if because her brother had died she hadn’t chosen to do anything with her Pokémon like most people did. She didn’t train them to battle like everyone she used to know did – yes, used to know – she just had them to keep her a bit of company, or to help her forget. They were really just a sort of…Tool for her, if she thought about it seriously. She loved them all dearly of course, including the ones that had gone missing, but if she was going to be honest with herself, she was really only using them.
Tessa had a feeling that most everything in the world was related in some way, so this thought kind of repulsed her. She shivered again, just as Lucien whispered “shhh” in her ear and rested his head on top of his. Oh, why did she let these moments get to her so much? When he was so sweet and gentle with her that really, she couldn’t even remember the bad times? It was as though when he did this, he was putting a veil over her eyes that kept her from seeing what was real and what was actually right before her eyes.
“I’m sorry, Lulu-sama, I didn’t m-mean to get upset,” Tessa mumbled as he stroked the skin beneath her hair. She sighed softly, almost contently, but not quite. The last time that she had been completely happy was…A very long time ago. Or at least, quite a long time ago. She couldn’t really remember. She only really had glimpses of true happiness now, little flashes or tastes of what it could be.
When he started talking about how his days were grey without her, her confusion deepened. Now that had to be a lie. There was no way that somebody as…Somebody like him could ever have a better time when they were with somebody as dull and boring as her than when they were with a group of people that they seemingly had so very much in common with. Surely it was impossible. It had to be. She didn’t want to think that he had such a bad time away from her, that the little time that they had together was better. For her, certainly, the time wasn’t usually much better, and perhaps that was why she didn’t want to think that he enjoyed it, but she knew that he did. She knew that there was something a bit off about him. But no. He loved her.
“Lulu-sama, you don’t need to lie to me,” She murmured, turning her head ever so slightly so that she wasn’t resting on him quite as much, though his hand was still on her back, seemingly holding her there in place. For a moment, she felt a bit panic stricken, wondering if that was exactly what he was doing, and the warmth of his hand scared her. She forced herself to calm down though and not make a scene, because it wouldn’t end well.
When Lucien spoke again, his voice was almost like a long, and when he finished he giggled a few times. Tessa didn’t know if this giggle was cute, or if it was frightening. It showed a childish side in somebody who often seemed anything but. He then shook his head, and Tessa was confused all over again. It was like he was dragging her up and down on a roller coaster of emotions, and it was disorienting. She decided not to respond to his singing, because she really didn’t know what to say.
“I’m no good at guessing though…” Tessa couldn’t help but complain a bit, a slight whine in her voice. “You know I can’t guess, I’ve never guessed anything right before when you’ve asked me!” Her eyebrows knitted together and she pulled away from Lucien a bit more, shaking her head slightly. It was true. He’d asked her to guess what ‘present’ he’d brought home multiple times, and every time she had been wrong. It wasn’t very entertaining anymore. Actually, it was downright scary, because God only knew what he had brought. She just…Wanted it to be done and over with.

So gather 'round piggies and kiss this goodbye, I'd encourage your smiles, I'll expect you won't cry.
Lucien's mood was fleeting as the wind. It had alwasy been, since he broke free from that hell hole he was in around 10 ears before. Oh yes, the tenth anniversary. That day...it was coming so fast. And, it was not as if he had forgotten. No...How could he forget? He'd never forget. The day he broke free. The smell of blood. It smelt like...Revenge. On that day he turned the tables, surpassed his odds ont he game. Beat the old Game Master, and became the Game Master himself. It was the very first day when he turned the order of things. From prey, to haunter.
How come, he'd never forget that day. Because, he'd never forget how that hell felt like. It was the worse place in the world. The phisical pain...it was nothing. After the first months his body had gone numb. Oh, yeah, the happiness that this freedom gave him every time he remembered what that hell was like. The Lucien from back then resembled in nothing the Lucien now. He could remember well one of the only times he saw his face in a mirror. His white hair, dirty and unkept, his skin far from healthy, he was thin and tired looking. No...that was not him. That ghost...it was just the crisalia that gave birth to a new him. The current Lucien was born on that day, 10 years ago. When blood of revenge was spilled.
But that was in the past. Buried deep down on earth. Deep into the darkness, where nobody could see. That bastard who took away his freedom, his dignity, his sense of being a human. That son of a bitch who kept him in hell for 3 years. 3 painfull years. 'You are going to hell for your crimes.' Those stuck up stupids talked about hell as if they knew anything about it. Had they ever seem hell? Ever tasted it? They had no idea what despair really was. Well...He'd bring them that idea. Just like he had brought it to that shit that called himself a man. With his own Eeve. And just like he had brought despair for that whore that he once called mother. She left him. Sold him. And saw hell, to pay for her crimes. Blood has an awfully good smell, but the smell of blood spilled for revenge, was way more sweet.
And now, it was going to be 10 years. Who could have guessed. In 3 more years it would be the 10th anniversary of the death of that whore. Who coulnd't wait for this day to come. In the same time it would be the 5th anniversary of his relationship with sweet Tessa-chan. Oh...he still could remember the first day he saw her. He felt the hair on his whole body stand up. So frail, so delicated, like a flower. She was just...perfect. In all sick feelings one so beautiful could rise in Lucien...the worse was recognization. Lucien saw his younger self on her. Lucien liked breaking things and wreaking havoc, he liked the feeling when things break. He could even feel the smell of that perfect day. And now, all this time had passed, and yet, it was all sooo fun.
Tessa stuttered as she apologized. He traced circles with his fingers on her body, trough her clothing. He hummed a childsh simple and calm tone on her ear, his lips not even moving, his eyes slightly oppened, purple orbs shinning. He rocked their bodies back and forth so slightly that it was almost impossible to feel. His smile becoming wider. His next words were a mere wishper as his mouth was still so close to her ear. She could certainly not only feel but also hear his breath.
“No need to apologize, my kitten.”
He felt her stirr a little under his touch. Soon she was moving her head, he moved his too. His head was still close to hers, if he moved a few milimeters, their noses would touch, not much more than a centimer and he could kiss her lips. His eyes open in a questioning look. For someone so fearsome, he seemed childsh and harmless. When she told him 'not to lie', it was a little over the edge. He just smiled and moved his head, sliding his cheek across hers, brushing so slightly his lips on her sin, until he reached her ear where he murmured so fast that one could question if he really did.
“Doubting me?”
He then brushed his cheek across hers more affectionately. A bright smile on his face when he came into her point of view again.
“But this is no lie~~<3!”
When she complained about the guessing game and began pulling away from Lucien he dropped his smile, lifted an eyebrow at her and tightened ever so little his hold on her. Did she really think of getting away from him? Did she? She was dreaming. Lucien was like a snake. Once on his hold, escaping is nothing but a dream. He made truth to his name, Collubra.
“Oh...Tessa-chan don't like guessing? But, if you are not good, you just have to keep on trying, right?~~<3 Keep on trying until you get it?~~<3 Buuut...if Tessa-chan makes suuuuch a question...”
He moved his hand slightly from it's place, still using the other to keep a hold on her. He moved barely the necessary to be able to show the DVD case for her. He lifted his pale hand, holding the DVD case beside his face.
“Tcharam! Here it is. It's the “Phantom of the Opera”, pretty cool, right? I don't really remember if Tessa-chan has watched this one, I know I did, but I'm sure you will loooooove it if you haven't seem already. It's suuuuuuuuuuuuuuch a beautiful love story!”
His expression happy and excited all the way. His eyes closed as his smile filled his face. Beofre speaking again, he openned his eyes, bright purple spheres shinning, then he blinked once or twice before putting a questioning look on again. His usually bright tone, that, for a last sentence, gained the slightest darker tone.
“Don't you loooove romances, Tessa-chan?~<3”

I am in misery, there ain’t nobody who can comfort me. Why won’t you answer me? Your silence is slowly killing me…
Tessa closed her eyes again as Lucien hummed to her softly, tracing circles on her back. Sometimes she had a feeling that he enjoyed watching her shiver and squirm a bit too much, because that was exactly what she did once again at that moment. She could feel him swaying them ever so slightly, but it was gentle enough that really you couldn’t be sure if it had happened or if she was just having a hard time balancing on her own two feet. He spoke and breathed hot air on her ear and neck, his lips so close that she could practically feel them moving as he formed words, such a small distance between them. Her body was still pressed up against his, so close that she could feel his soft breathing.
Perhaps she should have feared this closeness…Yes, that probably would have been the proper thing to do, and she did. He always put her on edge, and something about the tone of his voice was always a bit too…too much for her. It was always either too childish, or too serious, or too strong. Something about it just never boded well with her. When he was caring, it was over the top. When he was excited, it was to a startling degree. Nothing at all was normal about Lulu-sama, nothing at all.
“I cannot help but apologize…I feel bad for getting so upset over nothing at all…You are too forgiving.” Tessa replied, her frown becoming gradually deeper and deeper. Oh, why couldn’t she just be strong and tell him how she really felt? Surely he wouldn’t mind that much if she told him the truth. Honesty was supposed to be the best policy, right? So why was it always so hard to muster up the courage? And what was it really that she wanted to tell him?
Maybe that his mood changes frightened her or that locking her in the house every day was making her paranoid and that she missed her old friends and that she wanted new ones. Or maybe even that she couldn’t find a few of her pokemon and that it was worrying her because she missed them – even the one that she had only had for a day before it had disappeared. She had so much faith in Lulu-sama was the was sure that he could help her through some of these things that worried her so much if she only asked, but she was never brave enough.
When she pulled away from him slightly, he completely defeated the purpose of the movement by moving even closer to him and looking down at her with a confused look in his bright purple eyes. Such an oddly enticing colour, one that could have you throw away all your morals if only you could just continue looking at them. Along with his tattoo, those eyes had been the first part of Lulu-sama that she had noticed…When he hadn’t been smiling, of course, because he was smiling almost constantly, and when he did his eyes closed, so it was astounding when he opened them, unveiling a part of him that was so…Interesting. And now Tessa found herself staring into them, his lips hovering so close to hers that she was very urged to push herself up on her toes the tiniest bit and close the gap. And she almost did it too, because the more she thought about it, the more the idea that the gap was mocking her fear came to mind, and wouldn’t let go. The temptation to close that infernal space was astounding.
That is, until he slid his lips across her cheek so delicately, so softly, that it was like the memory of a kiss. It made her heart beat faster yet again and as he paused with his lips at her ear, his words shocked her and the heart that had just sped up skipped a beat, and not in a good way. “Doubting me?” She was sure that she had heard it. It was impossible to imagine something like that, but already his cheek was brushing against hers again in his usual happy manner, or at least, a façade of happiness. Tessa felt as though her knees were going to give out, and had he not been holding her firmly, she was sure that she would have fallen. Impossible it was for him not to notice the sudden extra weight that she was putting on him, and all because of the fear.
“O-okay, L-Lulu-sama,” She whispered, wide-eyed and frightened, as she worried that she had gone a step too far out of line. The last time that she had done that…She didn’t even want to think back to the day, it had been so awful, let alone the moment itself. Even thinking back to it was like being tortured in unspeakable ways all over again. And as she tried to stop thinking of this, his grip on her tightened, and she let out a slightly frightened cry, squeezing her eyes shut and pulling her arms in on herself, mentally begging to some force to keep her safe and free from harm. Oh please, if there is a God or many Gods, or anybody at all up there, don’t let him hurt me, please…Please… She couldn’t be sure if she had whimpered out loud at all, but she didn’t bother trying to figure it out. He wasn’t smiling anymore.
She looked down at the ground when he told her that she had to practice guessing, and for a moment she was sure that he was going to make her guess. Force her to do it. But then he moved and she peeked up just enough to see that he was holding something up next to his face. It resembled a DVD case, but with Lucien you really could never be sure of what it was unless you were told specifically, and she didn’t want to sound stupid and say something wrong.
“The…Phantom of the Opera? I have heard of it, but I haven’t seen it…Wasn’t it a book?” Tessa’s eyebrows knitted together and she looked slightly confused. Had she seen it? She might have a while ago, but if she did, she really couldn’t remember, and she figured that saying outright that she had never seen it before would be the easiest solution to the situation. If she just…went along with it. There could be no harm in that, right?
She was slightly startled again, but this time by the tone of his voice and the look on his face. She nodded immediately. “Yes, Lulu-sama, I do love romances…”

So gather 'round piggies and kiss this goodbye, I'd encourage your smiles, I'll expect you won't cry.
Tessa always squirmed under his touch. Well, not always. She didn't do it, in the past, when they began dating. She was so shy back then, all she did was blush and surrender herself completely to his touch. Later on she began blushing less. She'd seek his touch, the heat of his body, the touch of his big and pale hands. She'd seek his thin lips and his caress. And that went on for some time. She'd come to him, go along with him. He held her on his hands, she was such a silly little thing. Well, that she still was. But, as time went by, things changed. Well, Lucien did begin to change, show another side of him. And she began to fear him, fear his touch, try to get away from his hands and his lips. She'd squirm and cry because of his touches. Silly thing, couldn't she see that it only worked to turn him on? Couldn't she notice that he actually enjoyed this sort of thing? He liked seeing her squirm. He liked hearing her cries. Oh, how much did he enjoy this.
So, as she squirmed under his touch, it did nothing but turn him on, making the game more and more enjoyable. Like a cat that was cornering a mouse and now, just played with the poor victim. Lucien had to surpress the grin as he felt her squirm. Her reactions were always so interesting to the white haired male. So much fun. He had mood changes? Yes. He liked to play with her? Yes. His games were things only he understood? Yes. He was sadist? Yes. Sick? Not really. He had a long way to go to be really sick. Tessa was alive and well, no children were ever harmed by him, heck, he never even approached the little demons. The further from him, the better. For him, he was quite normal, on his own definition of the thing. Was he forbidden of enjoying things? No, he couldn't be. He did his job, like every citizen, brought food home...He had all the right to be happy.
And the truth was that Lucien's creepy actions did hold their very own and special charm. He was attractive, it he sure was, and was able to seduce people on his own way. Purple eyes that took hold any other's that he set his gaze on. Mysterious light purple eyes that were an invitation to a bloody destiny. But it would make you ignore the danger that was hidden behind those eyes, they were always hiding something, always. But they were still sweet and always calling for you. Resistance is always futile. And Tessa responded to his eyes. To his actions. Fell into his graces, looking deep into his eyes. He could feel it, feel her falling for the seductive air around him, around every single one of his actions. The warmth of his breath, the closeness of his face, his taunting lips. And, as in a flash, he moved away. Passing from teasing her in a sexual manner – one that any person would enjoy – to teasing her on his own manner – the one thing that would turn him on – that very manner that envolved pure raw fear.
He felt her heart race against her chest and, in turn, her chest against his, as he brushed his lips on her cheek. Upon hearing his words, he could feel her reaction, he heart reacting as well. Not only her heart, the sudden weight on him, he took a more firm and strong hold on her body, using both his own body and his arms to keep her up. Oh, sweet, sweet. Her reactions were so exciting, he could feel his very heart enjoying this game to a point of extremes. This was just so, so, so, so, so damn good! Oh, yeah, Tessa still remembered. And she better do. She remembered what happened to her when she took a step out of the line. What he could do to her, how much power he held over her. Oh, sweet, sweet, it felt so damn good! The rest of her reactions, bringing her arms closer, shutting her eyes, that little noise...That sweet little noise...Could she even imagine how much he liked it? He could bet that she couldn't.
That moment of extreme enjoyment passed and she looked at him as he showed the DVD case. There was no way that she hadn't heard of the Phantom of the Opera. It was a classic. The deformed Phantom who falls in love for a gorgeous ballarina. A foridden love, he tried to force his love on her, but it didn't work out. For Lucien, he was just too weak and incapable of getting what he wanted, a weak bastard. Nothing more, nothing less. It didn't make the story less interesting, tough. He still liked it quite a lot. Lucien kept his smile as he replied to Tessa.
“Oh, but I can be anything for my dear Tessa-chan~~<3.”
He moved his head closer to her as he said that. He got so close that he was able to brush his nose agains her, and slightly brush his lips on hers, letting escape a small breath of warm air from those lips of his. The touch of his thin lips so light that it could pass by unnoticed if one were not paying attention. Like everything about him, it was seductive, charming, it called and invited one to the pleasurable inferno that he was hidding behind his sweet sweet façade.
“Oh, yes, yes. It was a book, a theatre play and now a movie. If Tessa-chan hasn't seen it, I'm preeeety surre you will looove it.<3 It's such a touching story!”
He spoke in a happy manner, his voice still sounding sweet and cheerful. He pulled her body closer to his, planting a small kiss on the tip of her nose, another very light touch, not so light as the brush of lips before it, but still very light, then looking her straight in the eyes – purple orbas once more taking a hold of her brown ones. His smile became wider – if that was possible – he blinked those eyes of his once or twice before stating on his cheerful and kind tone.
“Then, if my humble self might ask, shall we head to the living room, my love?~~”

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,390,true][atrb=background,http://i890.photobucket.com/albums/ac107/sophiefication/tessabackground.jpg]
I am in misery, there ain’t nobody who can comfort me. Why won’t you answer me? Your silence is slowly killing me…
Tessa was absolutely sure that a higher power must have been out to get her, or had some sort of grudge toward her for something that she couldn’t remember doing. There was no other way to describe this other than vengeance. Maybe this was happening to her because her other brother had died, and not her. Maybe she had been the one who was supposed to get leukemia that second time around and then just cease to exist. Her brother had been one of the kindest people she had ever known, and it was more than unfair that he wasn’t alive anymore. If she pondered it for long enough, it made sense that somebody could be angry with her for still living instead of him.
Oh, but she couldn’t imagine anybody wanting to make someone suffer like this! This was pure torture; being so happy sometimes, only to have that torn away as though it had never even been real in the first place, and now, as Tessa had her weight on Lucien, him supporting her with his strong arms and body, she felt those two polar extremities colliding with one another in brutal, violent ways. One side was telling her to get away, run as fast as she could! And the other said to let this happen, this was a good thing, he would never put her in harm’s way… He was too kind and beautiful and perfect to do that.
She knew that one half of her was lying, that one of them was casting a blind eye upon the truth that was so blatantly there, but as Lucien breathed his sweet, hot breath on her lips, they trembled with a feeling that she didn’t want to admit. His nose brushed against hers and his lips barely touched hers. She wanted to tell him to just kiss her already, to stop teasing her in such a way, but of course she could never bring herself to do something like that. It was wrong, inappropriate and unacceptable…She didn’t know how to describe it exactly the way that she wanted it.
“Lulu-sama only has to be himself for me,” Tessa murmured, her wide, wild brown eyes searching his face for a sign of something. What was it that she was looking for? Even she wasn’t sure. She wasn’t much sure of anything nowadays, for the world was so dark. She closed her eyes for another moment and sighed softly, almost inaudibly, to herself, allowing herself a fraction of a second to dwell on her own misery before she pushed it away like something that didn’t matter or was annoying. All of this was true, she supposed. She was miserable, but just a moment ago she had wanted him to kiss her, or her him, or something. She wanted to feel wanted, and that was something hard to come by. She was always just forcing her smiles and pretending that his words felt full of meaning and love that she wanted to be there. She desperately wanted him to love her.
“It sounds lovely, Lulu-sama. I can tell that you like it very much!” Tessa smiled softly, carefully almost, as though she was reluctant to do so. Wasn’t it always that way, though? For such a long time, this was all she could remember. False images of smiles and joy and happiness covering what should have been a scene of devastation and cruelty. Lucien’s mannerisms often conveyed none of that though, which made him one of the best types of predators. The ones that could convince you of practically anything by simply batting their eyelashes a few times and looking at you with an innocent expression that you just knew was laced with malevolent intent…And there was nothing you could do to stop yourself from conforming.
It was the way of the hunter and the hunted, the circle of life, the way everything, inevitably, was and would always be. Tessa often felt like she was his prey, a mouse in a maze being watched by a hawk, whose piercing eyes seemed to look straight through you and into your soul where your deepest, darkest, most secret desires and fears were hidden. Those were the things that were yours and belonged to nobody else, yet what happens when those things are stolen from you and become public property and knowledge? What happens then?
Well, that is when you break.
Tessa nodded firmly when he asked if they could head to the living room and she pulled away from him, using her own strength to stand straight, no longer relying on him to stay on her own two feet. She walked past him into the living room, looking briefly at the large TV, before she heard her Chatot chirping in that sweet little voice of hers, still saying the name of Tessa’s boyfriend over and over again.
Tessa crouched down next to the pokemon and stroked its little head with two of her fingers, smiling brightly. When she did so, the little flower tattoo on her cheek became even more obvious, her skin pulling a bit tighter against her cheek bones. She couldn’t even remember getting the tattoo. She just remembered looking in the mirror, seeing it there, and accepting it as a fact. Maybe she had lost her memories and she had had it her entire life. She had heard of things like that happening before because of head trauma, and as we all no, she’d known plenty of that in her life…
“Ahhh, hello Angie, are you doing okay?” Tessa’s voice was very soft and sweet as she spoke to the pokemon almost as though it was a child. In a way, the Chatot was, to Tessa, a child that she had to care for and pay attention to. And she did care for her greatly. Angie was very important in her life. She smiled down at the little bird-like creature, which was now saying her own name again and again, and spinning around in a little circle. Tessa laughed, pressing a hand to her mouth to stifle the sound. “Oh no, you’ll get dizzy and sick doing that!”
She stopped Angie’s spinning gently with her hands, before looking back at Lulu-sama to see if he had come in.
