A bit of a jerk to be quiet honest. Its hard to remember he's defected from the baddies sometimes. Arrogant, obnoxious, vain. He thins he god's gift on earth to be rather honest. Nothing can burst his ego it seems. A notorious flirt, and a bit of a womanizer at times, he likes his ladies.Cheeky is another word to describe him, sarcastic, he doesn't seem to take things seriously, often making him seem horribly immature. He often acts as if he cares for nothing or nobody, which is odd because he is a ranger. It seems as if he's in it for his own glory. the whole " good guy gone bad", but there's more to him than that.
He cares more than he lets off, but is afraid that caring will get in the way of things. An old habit from his Rocket days, not showing your emotions. Just not caring for anything. Not getting close to anyone. Its all about you. Underneath that though, there is a deeply loving guy. A protective nature also. It was what got him to quit, though its still covered up from years as a rocket member. You can catch glimpses of it, if you are able to look past the sarcasm and apathetic front he puts on.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION. He is about an average height at 6'3, with a somewhat muscular build. His hair is a dark brown, and normally mess. nothing he does will make it go flat. He has rather pointed facial features, as well as a few scars, the most noticeable an x shaped scar on his chin. His eyes are a steely blue. His clothing is usually on the darker side of the spectrum.

HISTORY.
Of course, he wasn't always the handsome ranger he is today. No, once he was a handsome team rocket grunt, buuut, lets start at the beginning, shall we? See, the team rockets stuff, its in his blood. His father was a team rocket executive at one time. His mother was just your everyday run of the mill woman. His father wasn't around much, and when he was, Hiro was usually made to be kept out of the way. His father was a very busy man after all, being evil and stuff, not much time for a son.
Even so though, the young boy would do anything to make his father happy. Granted being kind and sweet wasn't necessarily that. He remembered a particular time, at 5 years old when he fell off the bike after trying to ride one for the first time. Instead of running o help, his father just laughed. He wasn't allowed to cry, ever. It led to severe punishment. Needless to say, the wimpier aspect of his younger personality quickly diminished,
As he got older,when he couldn't win approval, he resorted instead to trying to get his attention. He acted out, as teenagers do. Though rather than being reprimanded for criminal behavior, it was encouraged. " As long as you don't get caught" he was told " Cuz I aint coming to rescue you"
It was at age 18, he joined Team Rocket. Of course, no specail treatment for the grunt, rather harsher treatment. It would come down on him should he mess up, which he did often. At this point,he still had his morals. His father would do anything to preserve his image though.
Eventually though, he fell into the routine, the mindset many Team Rocket members have. It was all about him. He was like that for a long time. During that time many deeds done, Pokemon napping, raids. What made him change,though?
She was a professor at a Pokemon Lab. The most beautiful thing ever in his eyes. Kind and Gentle.The only time he'd ever been in "love". He of course kept his allegiance secret. Their fling didn't last long though, as there were orders to raid a lab. The one where she worked. She tried hard to save the pokemon there, but they were taken, and the efforts ended in her death, though of course not before she found out his little secret. He would never forget the look in her eyes. He struggled hard with it, very hard. He deserted Team Rocket.
Though still the images of that night haunted him, and memories of many other incidents plagued him as well. What could he do to make up for all he's done? Well what else than to do the exact opposite? At the age of 24, he became a ranger.
