" Ugh, I /hate/ forests." She muttered as she pushed yet another branch from her path. " There better be some of those rare Pokemon people talk about here... Otherwise I'm heading straight fore Ka-" She was smacked in the face by a branch she didn't see. " Ow..." She rubbed her forehead, removing her hand too realize that there were little droplets of blood on it. The branch must've scratched her...stupid trees.

Needless to say, this trainer normally chose to stray on regular road and routes. Though by now she's figured out that she isn't going to catch any rare pokemon that way, nor will her own get very much stronger. If she even wanted to be considered a league contender, she'd need to learn to rely on more than just her Lucario and Gallade to get her through.

Though navigating though forests weren't exactly her forte, and it didn't help that she was growing increasingly more nervous the later it got. She hated to sound like a wimp, but honestly, dark forests made her nervous. Who wouldn't be nervous? Who knew what could be lurking behind the bushes? She didn't even want to think about what cuold be out here...

" Just little bug Pokemon is all" she tried to tell herself. Or big bug pokemon. Or giant bug pokemon. Would they eat a person? she really didn't want to find out...

Get a hold of yourself Sam, there's no need to worry" Though she continued to worry. Especially as the trees started looking familiar. Had she already paced the place? Was she going in circles?

" Calm down, your alright." she touched the poke ball's at her belt as she tried to reassure herself, and trudged foreward.


A rustle in the bushes caused her the glance away from where she was walking. As she looked back, she was found staring face to face with a Spinarak. It didn't scare her, so much as startle her all. All the same though, she jumped back with a shrill shreik. The bug Pokemon just blinked at her, before crawling back u its web.

[IZUMI MANAI]

Walking in the damp forest was just annoying and gross to Izumi. He had been traveling everywhere 'round the forest just because he had to find something that he dropped, and you want to know what happened right when he found it? Izumi groaned childishly before watching his Skunktank sniff around and lead ahead from him.

That's right, he got lost.

You would of probably think someone his age would of known the way after traveling around the routes and forests all of his life, but as usual Izumi didn't think. He was too busy trying to avoid being as 'dirty' as possible, because by god, today was just not the day he should have wore a dress and high-heels. Because if they weren't killing him enough, the leafs and bug pokemon were just totally grossing him out each time they tried to get closer and closer. "By god get these stupid creatures away from me!" He groaned in his more 'manly' voice looking at his Kisses expecting him to cure the problem.

At first his Kisses looked at his mistress master lovingly thinking what to do, and right after he quickly made a lovely 'smog' at everything around them. It only took a few minutes to realize the stench so suddenly he covered his mouth and quickly ran away from the scene as possible. "Geez, Kisses. At least give me a warning." Coughing a few minutes he winced for a while still recovering from the smell as his Skunktank ran along with him raising his head down. Izumi only petted it, to let it know it was more of advice then a scolding. A small grin he calmed his other easily letting his soft words come out of comfort, "It's OK. Did a good job getting those things away from me anyway, and that's all I cared about." The Skunktank only replied with a slight cuddle of his master's palm, and Izumi gleamed back. Kisses was always the emotional one, but the real question is, who wasn't on his team?

Suddenly after a while as they continuned to lead on the trail, Izumi stopped for a second after hearing a shriek ahead of them. "What was..." Without thinking the two companions quickly ran the direction of the small noise before peeking over a tree to realize what was going on. Izumi rolled his eyes, momentarily. Eh, just some brat that got scared by a spider. What a joke. He thought there was some dangerous Tsunbear or something that scared someone, but in the end was just a lame Spinark. Although, he couldn't blame the girl from being surprised from these spiders. They were as much of a nuisance to him, as to her. Might as well see what's going on...Kids like her shouldn't be this deep, anyway. Tidying his dress, Izumi prepared his genuine lovely femine smile before running out from the tree looking 'surprised' and 'worried' followed by his trusty Kisses.

"O-O..Oh my!" Izzie said with a more light kinder tone and caring expression. "Are you alright? I heard a shriek~!"

Even she thought herself stupid, being scared by a little spider. What kind of trainer was she? Another deep breath, and she took a look at her surroundings. In front of her, the forest just got denser, and more creepy looking. Probably filled with worse things then a spinark. That was just great. She probably would feel better if she had one of her pokemon out. She reached for one of the red and white balls at her belt, and with a press of a button, the green and white Gallade came out. " Having fun yet Ms. Miles?" Came the teasing tone, though of course it couldn't be understood. It came out as whatever sound Gallade's make. "O-O..Oh my! Are you alright? I heard a shriek~! Both she and the pokemon jumped almost a foot in the air, though managed not too scream this time. She spun around eyes wide, though relaxed slightly as she realized it was just another girl. " o-oh...I'm sorry." she once again tried to calm her heart rate. What a weakling she must've looked like. Getting scared by spinark's and other girls. She gave a sheepish grin " Yeah..I'm fie. Just got startled is all." She then tilted her head slightly, curious expression on her face " I didn't suspect to see any one else out here." she stated " What brings you out this far?" Of course, the same could be asked about her. She was shot a look from Charles. The one he gave her when she forgot her manners. Oh of course! She had started spouting off questions with out even introducing herself. How rude of herself! " Oh, Um, I'm sorry, I almost forgot to introduce myself! I'm Samantha by the way. But most just call me Sam, or Sammie." Another sheepish grin as she extended a hand. wc:326 muse:so-so notes: its completely fine^^
