A proud creature, she always has been even as a Piplup. Apparently it's a species trait. Everything she does well she flaunts and the things she doesn't do well at she tends to sweep under the carpet and ignore. It's not quite an arrogance and only almost a vanity so she gets away with it most of the time. It's when she ignores those faults for too long and they become problems. Amina has problems facing her faults, she turns angry when they're brought into the limelight. It means she's not willing to work on them and it makes training her more a...test in Asar's persuasion skills that an actual training session. Still, he's not given up on her yet and he's not likely to. She's one of the strongest of his team and he's aiming to make her even stronger.

Personality.
He's the only member of the team (apart from Amina) that wasn't caught. A trade, between himself and the sister of an old friend. She wanted a...Well, he's forgotten what she wanted, but he managed to get one for her through his Grandfather and Basir was introduced into the team. Now he is vain. Force fed comments on how beautiful he was by his previous trainer he'd rather spend hours posing and looking at himself then battle. It was a great shock indeed to find that Asar didn't really consider him beautiful. The training since has done more than enough to slightly dampen his vanity (not by much at all) and even though he despises it he'll fight until there's nothing left in him to prove himself. Even if it does mean getting his perfect form dirtied in the process.

Personality.
Khalil is a jolly fellow. He'll always have a special place in Asar's heart for his ability to cheer him up no matter what. The Walrein is one of those people who can take any comment or criticism and ignore it completely and utterly. He's friendly to virtually everyone he meets (it was actually how he found Asar, he just flopped right up to and started eating his trousers) which includes other trainers. He's the one Asar actually lets greet people because he's most likely to not scare them half to death or try and hurt them. He enjoys the position of greeter, though, and takes it seriously. Or as seriously as such a fun loving pokémon can take things. He doesn't even get annoyed very easily, unlike his trainer who does get annoyed and only rants about it in private (though his moustache as a Sealeo did get on his nerves quite a bit).

Personality.
Of all his pokémon Malik is probably Asar's least favourite. The creature is secretive, to the point where he pretty much spends most of his time in the underground tunnels of the gym. He does the work, he listens, yes, but only just. He follows orders to the letter and nothing more. To Asar he has no motivation. To Malik he's just got bigger plans in mind. Malik considers himself an artist. In the same way any pokemon can consider itself an artist when it's work involves nothing more than sticking spikes into walls and scratching away at it. He views everything with a critical eye, even his own Master after all these years. And he'd never let anyone else find out about it.

Farah's the one who bites back. She's argumentative even in battle. Of course if this start going badly she concedes and lets Asar 'boss' her around but until then she's absolutely positive that what she's doing is the right thing and may whatever deity have mercy on your soul if you say otherwise. He may love her for her tantrums but she's a pain in the behind when she wants to be.

Personality.
Noor is...Well, Noor is. Best friends with Khalil she's almost his mirror copy. Exact that she's a little quieter and a little more eager to concentrate. She is, in relative terms, the newest member of the party, received as a present from a fellow Gym Trainer before they left. She's the most studious of all his pokémon. He's almost sure that if he tried he could teach her to read. She's quiet but faithful, not the strongest but the quickest and the smartest – or rather the least dependent on him. She tries her best to make him proud of her, however, even when she looses. She doesn't let the pride get to her head, though. Praise just means she's doing something right.
