Just runaway from these lies, back to yesterday *;;
Arisu walked slowly through Kawa forest. It was a cloudy day, but it was still light out. The dark clouds near the south made it look like it was going to rain, but she didn't hear anything on the weather station about a storm. Usually, this part of the forest was busy with little pokemon chirping and playing about. But it was awkwardly quiet. Not even a single little Taillow was to be seen. They were all probably busy finding a place to wait out the possible storm until it was sunnier. The signs weren't good, but for some reason, she knew that it wasn't gonna rain no matter what. It was like some sort of 6th sense. Either way, it doesn't matter. A little rain never hurt anyone. There never had been stories about some teen dying because a little light sprinkle. If it did rain, Kitsune sure wouldn't like that. Arisu looked down at her Nintales that has been literally by her side for almost 4 years now. <Can we get out of this forest already? I don't have a good feeling about this. > Kitsune was all tensed up, and her fur was standing on end as she walked cautiously by Arisu's side. Her ruby red eyes darted from side to side, scanning for any signs of danger. Arisu let out a small sigh. She wished Kitsune would calm down for once. Her Ninetales was always so tense, and quick to burn anything to ashes just because Kitsune thought they were gonna hurt Ari. In a way, Kitsune did have a right to be so protective, they had been through a lot together, ever since the trainer's mom gave her Kitsune as an egg. She slowly traversed over the grassy terrain. Tall trees surrounded her everywhere she went. I mean it is a forest after all, although Kawa was less dense than all the others she had seen. Which was a good thing, Ari could see which way to go, and how much longer, until she gets there. The quicker she gets to where she needs to be, the quicker she can take a break and go to sleep. Arisu had been traveling for 5 hours, which was longer than she had ever traveled in a day, she hoped to take a rest soon. After 30 or so minutes, the trees started to sparser and gave way to an open meadow. It was a fair sight, green grass and some wildflowers here and there. There was a old log on the right side of the field, This area looked like a place many trainers would come and battle each other, but for now, Arisu would just make it a place to rest her feet. Ninetales started growling, she had sensed someone or something there. Arisu ignored her behavior, Ari knew it was nothing to worry about. "Kitsune, can you please stop growling and take a break? I think I can handle whatever it is by myself." The Ninetales stopped growling, but was still on edge and ready to burn anything. <Sigh. I wish you weren't so nonchalant about things, you never know what could be lurking here.>notes;; I always hate first posts, I could never really think of anything good...same with titles d: [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Aaaaah!" He was complaining, traveling the road as children pointed curiously when he slipped into the woods, "But it's boring! There's nothing dryer than this kind of stupid thing!" And Ginjiro collapsed into the grass, hands behind his head and not quite sneering—such expressions never attached well, and came out lop-sided with a crooked grin—while he ignored patches of stain and dirty white. Heaving a sigh, he murmured a simple, "Can't it be something fun, like playing a knight to a damsel as she wages against a violent old beau, or maybe less dramatic. Maybe an anti-hero with a father complex, or at least a real Freudian excuse! Those kinds of faces pump the crowds blood. I need to stop asking Kozuki for his recommendations." And he droned out a whine from the back of his throat, Kei bouncing precariously on his spring—spoinking with true finesse, and doing what he was born to do as Ginjiro liked to say—before he swept him into his arms and choked the poor thing in a cuddle.
Although Ginjiro could agree that men did not huggle furry things without their fair amount of swearing and manly procedure, this was not in public, and he buried him into his chest with a sigh. "It's goin' to be worthless going to Popura at this rate, eeeeh." And he continued to hop, shakily, before Ginjiro let him slide between his knees as he sat Indian-style. "I'm so screwed!" And he sulked, with all the glory of a spurned young man, while Kei chattered softly before he was tempted into a grin.
He flipped his tophat off hastily, playfully leaving it to rest on Kei's head—the quirky, over-sized thing tumbling over his skull with his ears protruding from underneath—before tugging it off. Grinning, Ginjiro offered a refined, "Thanks much, sir, but may I grace myself with this fine a hat. Terribly sorry to remove it from such a dashing fellow, though." Running a gloved hand through his hair as he brushed the bangs from his eyes, he abandoned it at his side and stretched with a yawn, "People are thinking I'm schizophrenic, Kei. I guess you're quite the listener, eh?"
It was true, they did, and Ginjiro worsened it by talking in a stream of random phrases and romantic spiel. (He was more or less the kind of person who went around drawing attention to himself, and loved to laugh at whomever gave him funny looks at the train station. In his mind, he led a perfectly normal, average life—but then, normal and average were words Ginjiro defined loosely, kind of like 'taxes' or 'lying.') He quirked an eyebrow, watching the thunder clouds gather between spots in the trees, and jerked upright, "NOT AGAIN. I JUST DRY-CLEANED THIS STUPID THING." It was the truth; an entire salary went into buying food for his adopted family and keeping his clothes primped and pressed. Rising to his feet with Kei barely jumping beyond his knee, he wandered the woods hopelessly until he stepped out from the underbrush—very casually, unaware of anything but the buzz of Beedrills that more than likely had chased him out of it in the first place—until he noticed nine sweeping tails and a furious growl. Blinking, Ginjiro looked around curiously, eyes falling on a sight for sore eyes. A very cute, completely lovely, and altogether feminine sight. Tipping his tophat upwards, he smiled with an easy grace, and and as innocent as his boyhood looks allowed, "Haha! Sorry, I've barged in on you. My deepest apologies." _____________________ OOC: IN THE FUTURE, I'LL GET HIM A POSTING TEMPLATE. But that is not today, because I've been too busy to make one. [/blockquote]

Just runaway from these lies, back to yesterday *;;
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a strange character had appeared out of the woods. Arisu looked at where the sound of rustling leaves and bushes came from and out stepped a boy. They had never crossed each others' paths before, the young trainer would have remembered someone who was dressed like this. He was all spruced up like he was gonna attend some sort of fancy royal ball. She then compared it to what she was wearing and it made her feel plain and poor. Her gray and white striped long sleeve made out of cotton and nice fitting jeans topped off with dirty white sneakers. "Haha! Sorry, I've barged in on you. My deepest apologies."He apologized. "Oh, its okay. I wasn't doing anything too important, so its no big deal. I was just taking a recess from traveling. May I ask you your name?" Ari was too focused on the strange character to notice what her Ninetales was getting up to. Kitsune had took a couple steps back, and poised herself in a position to attack while they were busy talking. Her jaws opened and emitted a swirl of orange and red flame. "NO! STOP IT!" Arisu tried to command her pokemon, but it was too late. On the bright side, Kitsune had missed the gentleman and only manage to burn the top of the man's formal hat. Oh dear, what have you done now Kitsune? Ari thought with horror. She probed frantically through her bag, where she carries all sorts of things, for Kitsune's pokeball. At last she managed to find it. Wasting no time, she clicked on the center of the red and white poke ball. The container opened and let out a dark red beam at crouching Ninetales, causing her to glow red, then disappear into the pokeball. Arisu quickly stowed it away then apologized to him. "Oh, I am so sorry!" the girl said while blushing from embarrassment. "I-Its just that.." she sighed, there was no use for excuses. "I truly am sorry, but I'll buy you a new hat if you want." "My name is Arisu-u-u." she said. A yawn snuck its way in after the first syllable of her name, but she still continued to speak at the same time. "Sorry, I'm a bit tired. I've been walking for awhile." Arisu hadn't moved any closer to him then where she was know, she was slightly afraid of what he might think, or how he would act. Arisu should have done something quicker. She knew Kitsune very well, yet she still didn't do anything to prevent her from causing this. The trainer wanted to hang her head in shame of herself, but didn't. notes;; ninetales burned his hat, the source of all his powers! mwahaha! In a daze, Naomi was found walking in a forest. A forest, A forest full of little creatures playing and chirping around her with the companion of her Lily hiding behind her leg. Where was she in this forest? She didn't know. Why was she in the forest? Well, she didn't really remember. I swear I was going somewhere... And even with assuring with her questions there was one last one on her mind, she was unsure of the answer. 'Was she lost?' Hm. Taking a look left and right all she practically could see were just more and more trees and pokemon playing around. It felt like she was in a maze more then a forest, and she had to skillfully find a way to go out; She wasn't good with mazes. Although being Naomi it was alright if it took her some time. With her cheery persona, she already knew she was going to find her way sometime. Or would it be someday? Either way it wouldn't matter.
Although as for Lily...That was another story. "Lil's come on stop your tugging on me too hard!" the trainer said audibly as she felt her companion begin to cling on her closer. Her Chillaccino wasn't the bravest of pokemon, especially when it came areas like this. The forest was dark and dull, and she preferred bright and happy places like...Somewhere that wasn't here. For Naomi, any place was fine as long as it was interesting. And obvious, it was. Although she wouldn't have really minded her clinging if she wasn't making her slow down from walking, honestly. 'N-Naomi, i'm scared I want to g-go out here now...!
With her little friend halting her to show a frown, Naomi couldn't help but to stop to bend down and comfort her. Guh Lily can get so afraid sometimes, I swear! Even for over 3 years, she hasn't changed... But well, Naomi was just too much of a pushover carer to change her. It wasn't much of a big deal to her anyway. " Aww, c'mon don't give m' that frown..." She said beginning to stroke her head. " We're almost out here you don't have to worry! Just be patient and--" When the seventeen year old cocked her head she noticed two figures in the distance. Could it be... Squinting...And she saw one with brown hair and a ninetailes! (Which now rested in it's pokeball) " Oh hey Lily I think we'll be getting out sooner then we thought!" Getting up, she held her pokemon in her hand, and started to run in the direction. God let's hope it's her! And finally once she found herself (slightly panting after running to fast) with the two she let out a relieve sigh as she realized the familiar figure along with another figure she hadn't seen yet. " Ari, Ari, heyyyy! Your here too? Where's Kitsu, at?" Naomi smiled at her then turned at the other figure. It was a guy, and as for appearance made her raise a brow. And what was goin' on what his hat? " Um..Hey...You know your hat is kinda...burnt, right? Is this...A new style or something?" She couldn't help but to gleam more. tags you gaiz muse chasing pavements - adele notes HIIIIIIIIII lawls. don't mind me. i'm bad at jumping in the first time orz so u wait ;3; words enough [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Still examining her—with all the appropriate curves, a sort of timid feel, and a genuinely soft look—he jerked violently to the side, stumbling over his own cape and nearly dropping his monocle while he narrowly dodged a burn to the leg. (Good thing Pokemon That was unexpected, and he tried to look as smooth as possible (which, since he was in-character, was fairly impossible; imagine if they fell into one another, what a fantastic act~! But, no, Ginjiro thought hastily, that might be too cliched. Something simple seemed ideal, although perhaps she wasn't from the boonies? Country people weren't really for interesting strangers—wait, Ooku was country—ah, well, whatever) while he flailed in a desperate last attempt to save his hat. The silk was singed, scattered with blotches of brown and yellow, before he heaved a sigh as she scrambled to get her Pokemon back into the Pokeball.
"No harm done. Just a costume for my act," it was desolate, and he quickly adopted a grin before he winked her way, "It's what fate wanted. At least she missed? I've got the kind of grace people would die for, eh." Ginjiro laughed easily and fell to a dutifully attentive silence when she spoke again, listening curiously and feeling pretty good to be in, ahem, her company. He never was the kind who could spend time by himself when he could spend time enjoying such a beautiful world, and he waved a gloved hand breezily as Kei crept out from behind his legs, "Ginji. Clearly, the pleasure is mine, no?" Deciding that there was no need to keep the poor thing on now—his hair was more or less cut jagged and yet never unkempt if his vanity had anything to say about it, so no need to spend time wondering if he looked unkempt—he bowed low, with one arm bent and the tophat at his hip.
Straightening, he added a joking, "Don't take it seriously. Good to meet you." Very much keeping himself in check, since Ginji had a knack for appearing at least two ways in a conversation—and that was on a tame day—he shrugged off her yawn as nothing worth worrying over if she was tired. (Since everyone traveled, it was just business to dump your things in the dirt and camp out at a Pokemon Center or pitch a tent right there in the road. Nothing unexpected.) Distracted with calculating exactly what approach might work here—the tuxedo drew the eyes, but it was his job to keep them there—he felt a twitch of surprise when faced with a second, just as fantastic sight to behold. (Looking was healthy interest, but certainly one would catch him in the act if he made too much of a spectacle of himself. Never wanted that kind of attention.) Ginjiro was caught in a truly bloody battle: to prefer girl-next-door charms or chase after the-lady-of-the-evening type. Such a hard decision, and he sulked even though it never spread to the surface. Grinning easily, he shook off the second's—pink-haired, wide blue eyes, and utterly different from her friend, if how casually she spoke was any indication—comment with a laugh and an easy reply.
"Burns make it unique," he added cheerfully, spinning it around his index finger, "It's the best hat I've ever known, actually. Your taste in style is exquisite."

Just runaway from these lies, back to yesterday *;;
"No harm done. Just a costume for my act,"She breathed a sigh of relief. For a moment, Arisu thought that she was going to be in serious trouble. And there would be an even bigger problem, especially that Arisu probably couldn't afford to purchase a hat like that. "Act? As in a show? What kind?" The girl was honestly curious, he didn't look like the type to be in a show. Was he a comedian? Or some famous actor? Then again, he could be lying and say that to make him look less..unusual. She noticed the grin and the wink he made at her. The brunette didn't know what to make of it at first. It felt kinda odd being 'hit on' by a stranger you know completely nothing about. Either way, he seem like a nice person, a bit odd in a sense. "It's what fate wanted. At least she missed? I've got the kind of grace people would die for, eh. . . . Ginji. Clearly, the pleasure is mine, no?""Yeah, its a good thing she did miss. She always been like this, I don't know why though." She gave a small chuckle at his joke, the trainer wasn't that into jokes, but best not to hurt his feelings or something, especially after he was ever so kind about letting the hat thing go as if it were nothing. Then he introduced himself. "Well nice to meet you. " Suddenly a little pokemon crept out from behind him. "Aww, what a cutie! Lets see..its a Spoink, right? I hope I didn't scare him..or her." The Spoink looked like an adorable little thing, so shy and timid, it reminded her of her own Bachuru. "Do you have any more pokemon? And do you mind if I see them?" Hopefully, he didn't think of it as an invitation to battle, Ari wasn't in the mood to battle. She was too tired, even though all she would have to do in a battle is stand and shout commands. "Ari, Ari, heyyyy! Your here too? Where's Kitsu, at?"She heard a new voice, it had a bright, cheerful, and peppy tone, that the brunette recognized from somewhere. Arisu hoped that it wasn't her. It can't be, could it? Arisu thought. Surely it can't be her, I mean....it just can't! Out of the corner of her eye, she was an all too familiar bright pink hair. Feigning a believable smile, Ari turned to great the pink haired one. "H-hey Naomi." Her voice didn't have much enthusiasm behind it as her face showed. Arisu wasn't quite fond of Naomi, and thought of her as an annoying Pachurisu at times. Of course, Ari didn't have the heart to tell her how she didn't like her. It just seemed too rude. She tried dropping very very subtle hints before, but Naomi probably didn't get it. For now, the best thing to do is to just grin and bear it. "As to where Kitsu is at, she is in her pokeball. Why? She got a little too..'protective' again." She gave a small sigh as she reminisced about all of the other times Kitsu had done this, even as a Vulpix, the Ninetales was always guarding her. When it was still a Vulpix, it even dared to use some sort of move on the rest of her pokemon team. "Anyway, how are you and Lily and the rest of your team?" The female trainer asked, trying to hide her slight disdain at Naomi. note;; wait...did Ginji just call one of them a prostitute? o.o [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Without much notice still holding her small companion, the female trainer examined the awkward's male disposition further. The stranger's costume looked, silly. Yes, not weird but silly and supposing since this is Naomi's point of view, Silly was good. Well, at least it was different, (although she, the pink-haired girl, shouldn't really be talking). But really anything that was different, interested her; so she jut couldn't help her curious behavior, with her continuous nodding (to make sure she was paying attention to them, even though neither spoke yet) and examinations, even circling around him a few times.
"Unique you say, eh?" She asked fluttering with delight. "Won't be sure if I categorized it like that, but sure! Either way though I like it!" If Naomi had a fire pokemon at that time she probably would had summoned it but sadly she didn't; though she could ask Ari if she could burn one of her hats if they ever had a chance to go to the PC to pick it up if she ever found her way. Haha probably look so totally rad after that! Because having a ninetails set fire on your hat, is so not dangerous at all! Well, 'least not for Naomi. Naomi was more of the person to do before she thinks so right now, that obviously sounded cool at the moment.
And after the unique gentleman gave her a compliment, (well that's what she thought, I mean exquisite sounded rather like a complimenting word right?) she only simply grinned more at the other. "Why thanks! I guess it's just how I roll~ I always love good fashion. Though with your uniqueness right now I think you look better then me!" Another short giggle before petting her Chillicino. She wasn't really well with people she didn't know, so all she was doing now was trying to hide her head on her owner's chest. So usually, giving her simple strokes comforted her. "And nice to meet ya, Mr. Uniqueness! I'm Naomi and if you haven't figured already, i'm one of Arisu's--" Enemy? Rival? Friend? Acquantience? Childhood girl that knows me? "Friend!"
Speaking of her childhood nemeisis friend she finally gave the chance to turn towards the other (With Lily's relief) and raised a brow. Oh, she had finally realized it, looking at the burn then looked back at the other female's bag full of pokeballs. "Wait, so that's why the guy's hat is burnt and you look so irritated, isn't it? Ah, Kits can do that to just anyone anywhere!" Well the first part was true, but no actually Naomi I think your the one causing the second part. Although Naomi never realized these 'small hints' the other would show, she even still saw Arisu as a friend, more then a rival. Or would that be called a friendly rival? Meh. Either way she wasn't competitive as much with her normally like usual rivalries were. And also thanks to these 'small hints' too, sometimes (with the lovely oblivious touch in Naomi) she'd think Arisu is sad sometimes, so being always cheerful made her think it'd get her happy too~ Of course it's working she's still giving time.
"Oh and we're doing fabulous!" She said swimingly answering the other's question. She mused herself silently as she stroked Lily's soft ears again gently, as she felt her gripping onto her shirt closer giving a short squeak. "Although with Lily, she's just a little frightened being here, hah. But that isn't really new and I guess meeting someone new as a bonus, just makes it worse.!" Kissing the small creature's head she still smiled brightly now looking at both of the human figures. "And how are you both today? You all going somewhere?" <Please take us with you, Naomi doesn't know where she's going.> In a sudden idealistic moment she leaned closer looking at both a little more seriously before asking the last question,
"Oh wait, or were you both on a date or something?! The forest is a pretty dark place for a date don't you think?"
If it was true, there would be a reason why Kitsune would have been so over protective.

“Like I said: I might cry a bit, but the hat made it out alive,” generally speaking, he wasn't entirely sure that he managed to play his act off successfully; or, well, he stopped to wonder—however briefly—if he hadn't. At least, he got the sneaking suspicion that he might have dampened Arisu's interests quicker than he wanted. Ginjiro liked the intrigue of any kind of company, but he lived in the present, where things were all glamor and adrenaline. There were a lot of women he could talk to for fifteen minutes and piss off, and just as many he could walk home if he wanted to. That was the secret to a carefree life, and he long ago mastered such elusive concepts.
Yet, sad as it was to fail to deliver to an audience yet alone such an excellent and attractive one, that was just painful, clouds were rolling over the hills and swollen with rain. Grinning at a nervous Kei as he readjusted his top hat, he paused and realized she'd asked about his act. That could have been a long list—entertaining kids with animals balloons and roses from thin air, juggling but, because grace was overrated, not being any good at it, and letting Kezu throw caution to the wind and imitate anything and everything. (Which was, without a doubt, a definite screw you to caution. The little Mime Jr. once made it his duty to perfectly emulate a frightened Pichu, and have you ever tried to find a Pichu when it doesn't want you to.)
Far too easygoing to worry about what they thought of it, Ginji offered the simplest explanation he could, "Uh, I work with Psychic types. I play the part of a one-part fantastic, one-part weird, and one-part lying Magician—er, with some other things thrown in." He smiled brilliantly before turning his attention to Kei, watching as he disappeared behind his legs again. She had apparently taken a liking to him, but Ginjiro was firmly of the opinion that only idiots did not like Kei. (It was one thing to dislike him, and another to dislike a Spoink.)
"Yep, yep! Thanks a lot, and, being the gentleman he is, Kei is flattered," he stopped curiously, a bit surprised by the notion of showing his Pokemon off—some of the older ones weren't good with people, and well, he didn't always use them for the proper reasons, "See them? Er . . . I can't stop you, so why not, right?" Rustling through his bag, he decided that he would keep to the beaten path, and would only let Kezu and Anko enjoy his new company. As much 'taste' as his top hat had now, it fell to him to make sure neither of the two ended up hypnotized and in the dirt. (Well, you know. That would probably look suspicious. Probably.)
"Uh, just a few though. I'm good with burns, but doesn't mean you need to be," he spoke over Arisu's friend as she bounced on her heels. Naomi, he'd learned, was brimming with energy and pretty interesting and fun in his opinion. He didn't quite expect the stream of chatter since she had an elegant look to her, but wasn't disappointed in the least. Ginjiro could adapt to anything if you, ahem, convinced him and wasn't the type to dwell on first impressions. (Which meant that, naturally, most women didn't have to try and particularly not when they had that kind of look.) "Naomi, eh! You look great, trust me, I'm 'Mr. Uniqueness.'"
Shrugging, he answered her question with an easy-going, "Nah, Kei's her escort. I'm just here for the ride; competing with him . . . hey! It's not a battle I'm goin' to win."
