Alright, as much as Ryu would have hated to admit, he should of listened to Jessie this time. While him and Banish were freaking the hell out of random passersby of the route he totally forgot where the hell he was going and now where the hell he was. And the moment he was in now, was standing in the center of a forest, beside him a bored-looking Banette and on the other side a very irked Mawile. Still having a more nervous smirk he looked over at the Mawile first as it glared at him back, with a pouting face with the expression of that 'I told you so' look. Ryu could only shrug at it nonchalantly and give out a fake chuckle.
"Jes how many times am I going to have say sorrrrry? I should of listened to you, yeah yeah. But look at my face, Jessie. Look at my face. Can't you see how sorrrry I am." The Mawile only replied by staring at him still with a distant look and as for Ryu he chuckled again trying to make it less awkward. "Anyway, didn't you see those people faces when we scared them? Looked like they shit their pants when we came out like that. You can't deny it was funny." Now really Ryu was only making it worse and worse each time he spoke. He could tell when Jessie was mad. She'd stare at him first, and then turn away rolling her eyes crossing her arms; which she did right now, where Ryu could only grumpily sigh and turn to look at his Banette now who was still giving it's creepily smirk as always at him. "Now what the hell do I do, to get her to stop being like this, Ban?!" He mumbled and stared at his Banette irritated, then quickly groaned once it ignored him and looked away. Oh, great help Banish, great help! He groaned again. Banish was not the best person to turn to for comfort and he wasn't the best at comforting. So they made a great pair.
The only thing he could think of now was look for a ranger and ask for help. He heard this route had rangers to help you find your way specifically if you got lost, nearly everywhere in the forest. But you know what Ryu said to that? Fuck, that! I can find my way without those creepos help. Tch, it won't be so hard to get out here on my own anyway! And if Jessie could read his mind at that time, she would have probably slapped him.
So then, following his own 'awesome' advice he started walking forward, making the other two behind him follow (which surprisingly looked like he knew where he was going which gave the Mawile and amused expression) going back to his cool, cool smirk. He knew exactly where he was going, he wasn't lost, no. He was going somewhere and that's all he needed to tell himself. So off he went forward, the intelligent Ryu, to the journey to nowhere and beyond! Whistling a tune he continued to pace forward as he watched Banish go forward and begin to scare anything that was in front of them.
And then, the adventure began.

come on, come on, won't you get close to me? "Hey, hey, calm downnnn. Stop being so paranoid." Luck attempted to shoot a reassuring glance in the blue and yellow pokemon's direction, but all hope of that failed as the Manectric fell back a few steps behind him, head whipping in various directions at each and every sound he heard. "Static, your ridiculous."
The Manectric remained behind his trainer, half expecting him to stop walking, but bounded off to his side after the red-head managed to get more than a few paces away from him. Honestly, Luck had wanted to be out the leafy forest by now. It felt almost as if they were going in circles and he found that to be true once Static pointed out a tree with the claw marks across the bark that he had made earlier. Luck slowed his steps, glaring at the tree as if trying to will the marks away or claim that they were from an entirely different pokemon. Frowning, he rose his arm to grip his chin with his thumb and index finger. "This would be so much easier if you had wings," Or if any of his team had wings for that matter. Having an aerial view would've made getting out of here a snap, right? "Oh well. Maybe I need to invest in finding someone to trade damn Novi off t-"
His words were cut off abruptly due to a sharp bark from Static and he stared at the electric-type, brows furrowing in irritation. He stood there, hooking his thumbs around the pockets on his jeans, shaking his head as he watched Static crouch low, electricity crackling on his pelt. He wasn't sure how many times he'd have to tell his companion that there was nobody else around them at the moment. "Cut it out, will ya?" Though, as he twirled around in the opposite direction that Static was facing, his eyes widened and he nearly lost his footing as gleaming red eyes and a crooked golden smile suddenly began approaching from somewhere.
Unable to think rationally at the moment, he prepared to run off past it, though the first step resulted in him tripping on a tree root that protruded through the ground. Falling forward and nearly landing on his face, a whoosh of air passed over as Static leaped over his fallen figure, paws outstretched to send a flying tackle at the mischievous ghost. A loud yip came from the Manectric as he passed through nothing but a black figure and in result, found himself crashing into whatever was behind his target.
"I-It's a g-gh-ghost!"
Obviously.
(( fffffff. hope you don't mind the post, i just kinda.... threw it together. anyway, in case it wasn't clear enough, static went soaring through ban with a fail!tackle and went tumbling into ryu & jess. ))
